STRATEGIC ADVISORY FOR ORGANIZATIONS IN MOTION
We help organizations align what they say, what they do, and where they’re going.
Growth, transition, and inflection points expose the gaps that day-to-day operations hide. Misaligned brand. A team pulling in three directions. A strategic plan no one is actually executing. Clarion Insight is the advisory partner for companies, nonprofits, and institutions working through those moments. We start with a clear diagnosis, then move fast: shorter engagements, sharper outcomes, and the small group of leaders who can actually move the organization.
Identity, then culture, then strategy. The order matters.
THE THESIS
What most leadership development gets wrong.
The pattern repeats across industries. A leadership team commissions a workshop or hires a consultant. Decks get built. Notes get taken. Energy spikes for a week. Three months later, the brand statement still hangs on the wall, the strategic plan still sits in a drawer, and the culture conversation has quietly faded.
The work was real. The learning was real. The translation into how Monday actually runs was missing.
That gap, between what an organization says and how its people experience it, is the alignment problem. We treat it as its own discipline. Our engagements are built around the leaders who set tone and make decisions, usually three or fewer in a given engagement. We move quickly because they need to.
Identity, then culture, then strategy. Skip a stage and momentum stalls. Take them in order and clarity gets ahead of execution, where it belongs.
THE METHODOLOGY
Three pillars. One diagnostic order.
The Clarion Insight methodology, the order organizational alignment actually develops in. Each pillar is a complete practice. Together, they’re a system.
Identity
Who You Are When No One’s Watching
Most organizations confuse identity with branding. The logo, the colors, the website. Real identity sits underneath that work: the values your team can defend in a hard quarter, the voice that holds steady through hiring, fundraising, and layoffs, the positioning that makes the right people seek you out and the wrong people self-select away.
When identity is clear, every downstream decision (a hire, a campaign, a partnership) becomes easier and faster. When it’s unclear, every decision turns into a debate.
Culture
The Speed at Which Trust Travels
Culture is what your people experience when leadership isn’t in the room. How decisions actually get made. Whether feedback moves up or only down. How disagreements get resolved or whether they just go underground.
Most cultural problems show up first as productivity problems. Meetings run longer than they should. Decisions get re-litigated. Top performers go quiet, then leave. We work with leadership teams to identify the specific patterns costing time and trust, and to install the operating norms that change them.
Strategy
A Plan Your Team Can Actually Carry
Strategic plans fail two predictable ways. They live too high, full of vision and short on direction, so the team reads them once and goes back to running last quarter’s playbook. Or they live too detailed, full of timelines and dependencies that don’t survive the first real disruption.
We design strategic plans and the execution systems underneath them: the meeting cadence, the decision rights, the role clarity, the way progress gets measured. The goal is a plan your team carries into the work without you, and a system that holds up when the plan inevitably has to flex.
HOW WE ENGAGE
Six ways to bring Clarion in.
Every organization comes to us at a different scale of need. Some need ongoing counsel. Some need a focused intensive. Some need a multi-year program. The shape of the engagement is built around the gap you need to close.
Strategic Advisory
A monthly or quarterly retainer for CEOs, founders, and executive teams making decisions that don’t have an obvious right answer. Acquisitions. Senior hires. Restructures. Market shifts. We sit at the table as an outside perspective, ask the questions your team can’t, and help you decide with more clarity and less second-guessing.
For: Senior decision-makers · Quarterly or monthly cadence
Brand & Culture Sprints
A focused one to three day intensive for executive teams that need to make hard decisions together. Brand repositioning, organizational restructure, post-merger integration, strategic plan reset. We come in with a clear methodology, run the room, and leave you with decisions documented, owners assigned, and a thirty-day execution plan you can use the next morning.
For: Executive teams · 1 to 3 day engagements
Resolve
A three-year leadership program built around cohort facilitation, real working artifacts, and applied performance labs. Year one builds individual leadership identity. Year two installs team capability. Year three develops strategic capacity and bench strength. Designed for organizations ready to stop running annual training cycles that don’t compound, and start building leadership infrastructure that does.
For: Organizations ready for multi-year leadership infrastructure
Compass
One-on-one coaching for managers, directors, and executives at moments of role expansion, post-promotion stabilization, or stuck performance. Three engagement tiers: a single ninety-minute strategy session, a three-month manager engagement, or a six-month executive engagement with stakeholder input. Often paired with Resolve cohorts when individual leaders need dedicated support inside a larger program.
For: Individual leaders · 90 minutes to 6 months
Interactive Keynotes
Conference keynotes, leadership summit talks, and convening addresses on the frameworks that anchor our work: alignment, leadership identity, the diagnostic arc. Built to give the audience a tool they can use the next week, not just a moment they remember.
For: Conferences, summits, leadership convenings
Team Immersions
Designed experiences that put teams inside the work they need to understand. For one energy client, we recreated an orphaned-well plugging operation in a public park so their corporate team could walk through what their field team actually does day to day. Silos that had quietly cost the organization months of misaligned priorities collapsed in a single afternoon. Immersions are built around the specific gap your teams need to close.
For: Teams of any size · Half-day to multi-day
HOW WE WORK
Three movements. One engagement.
Strategic advisory works because it’s structured around the small group of leaders who can actually move the organization, and built to deliver in weeks what traditional consulting often stretches across quarters.
Diagnose
Most engagements start with a single working session. We listen, surface the real friction, and tell you where the gap actually sits: identity, culture, or strategy. If we’re not the right fit, we say so.
Engage
We propose the engagement that fits the gap. Sometimes that’s a single sprint. Sometimes it’s an ongoing advisory retainer. Sometimes it’s a multi-year program. We scope around your timeline and your decision-making capacity, not a default template.
Embed
Every engagement ends with a handoff: the working artifacts, the operating norms, and the language your team needs to carry the work without us. We stay available for follow-up sessions and quarterly check-ins, but the goal is your team owning what we built together.
WHERE WE WORK
Cross-sector depth.
Twenty years of brand and organizational alignment work across nonprofit, education, and corporate sectors, wherever mission, money, and momentum collide.
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL ADVISOR
Ramond Walker.
Ramond Walker has spent twenty years working at the intersection of brand, strategy, and organizational development. He started in brand and identity work, where he watched companies invest heavily in visual identity while ignoring their internal one. He moved into strategy consulting, where he saw strategic plans launch with conviction and stall the moment execution required cross-functional trust. He now leads Clarion Insight, where the work focuses on what those earlier engagements kept missing: the alignment between identity, culture, and strategy that makes any one of them actually hold.
His work spans more than three hundred organizations and four thousand leaders across higher education, energy, financial services, nonprofits, and mission-driven companies. He is the author of LifeScript and the developer of the Identity, Culture, Strategy diagnostic methodology that anchors Clarion’s work.

Most engagements start with a thirty-minute conversation about what's actually happening in your organization right now: where the friction is, what you've already tried, and what a successful next twelve months would look like. By the end of the call, you'll know whether Clarion is the right partner for the work, and we'll know whether we're the right fit for you. No deck, no pitch.
